Natural Lysol disinfectant, How to Clean Vomit, and 18 Liquid Castile Soap Uses: #8 Hot Towel Massage

We've had some sickies lately at our house.  It's been awesome to say the least.  With lots of fabric surfaces that can't go in the washing machine I've had to research a few cleaning methods.  Here are some helpful was to keep your house healthy.

#1 - Natural Lysol disinfectant.  Okay, remember the commercial for Lysol?  The one in which the mom sprays everything from toys to the telephone?  What isn't shown (and is right now being petitioned) is that you are supposed to wash whatever you spray with Lysol after it dries!  The reside has bad chemicals and shouldn't be in contact with, especially for small children and pets.  So Lysol isn't an option for spraying down couches in our home, but this safe alternative worked perfectly!  Tea Tree oil is a natural disinfectant and is very cost effective.

Natural Lysol disinfectant:
10 drops Tea Tree oil
1 1/2 Cups warm filtered or distilled water

Put in spray bottle, preferably a mister, and shake before use!

#2 - How to Clean Vomit.  Ick, but necessary.

Make a paste of baking soda, OXYclean, and water.  Think thin frosting.  Clean up what vomit you can, then smear this paste very thick on all fabric and carpet as needed.  Let dry overnight or until it's powdery again.  Vacuum up, repeat if necessary.  Use leftover paste in the laundry.

#3 - 18 Liquid Castile Soap Uses: #8 Hot Towel Massage.  How could this not be nice?  Hot, damp towel with castile soapy water slowly rubbed towards the heart.  The soap left a nice scent, and the castile soap left no reside or feeling the need to rinse off afterwards.
