L’Oréal Volumnious Mascara in Carbon Black Review and TP Roll Painting

Pin #1
My mom came up recently for a visit and we had this exchange (more or less).  <Tweak!> Mom, "Sorry, I just had to see if they we're real!"  "Yeah, mom, they're real."  We were talking about my eyelashes.  There's a big trend right now for wearing fake ones, but they're not for me.

I have really long eyelashes, like, I have to cut them to wear sunglasses and can't hold my head in certain positions while applying mascara.  But they're blonde so without mascara you can't really see them.  I have tried many, many brands of mascara and I am a brand snob - I admit it.

In my My Style pinboard a pin had come up, 10 Best Drugstore Makeup Buys that are Better than Department Stores, and in the list was L’Oréal Volumnious Mascara in Carbon Black, and I was intrigued - I hadn't tried this one before.

I made sure to open my eyes very wide to reach the very base inside my eyelid.  I find this mascara easy to apply and the wand worked well.  One coat for daytime or softer look, two for drama.  With any black mascara, make sure to get the corners and use the very last on the wand to get the inside wispy lashes.

Please be kind, I couldn't take a photo of myself with my phone camera while looking straight ahead.

one eye with, one eye without
****After using this for a month, I find that when I use more than 2 coats it clumps off, I'm going to try MAC Zoom mascara and then TooFaced mascara if the MAC doesn't work out!****

Pin #2
With a baby and a three year old, our lives revolve around nap time and feeding schedules.  Activities in our home need to be ever changing and easily child-directed.  Enter Family and Kid Activities pinboard, with many friendly and quick activities.  Today's activity, painting!  Hobby Lobby had a great sale on acrylic paint and brushes and Target's lovely dollar bins had no spill paint cups.  So the three year old had a blast using her new brushes, but I introduced one new thing, Toilet Paper Roll painting.  I bent the roll into a heart shape for upcoming Valentine's Day.  It was a success!

How to Deal with a Child's Meltdown

My pin comes from my Parenting pinboard, and there has been a great need for this lately in my home. What to do with a Melt Down is a great way to teach young children and their parents several things: how to correctly identify and name emotions, how to label wants, plan out actions, communicate, and keeping calm in heated moments.  This pin works great with preschool age and older.

Balsamic Roast Beef

My pin came from my New Recipes to Try pinboard, and it was a hit!  Balsamic Roast Beef was delicious and so very, very easy to prepare.  I loved it, step 1: put your roast in the crock pot, and step 2: mix all ingredients and dump on top of roast.  Haha!  No chopping, peeling, or anything requiring more than 5 seconds - perfect for my day today.  And the best part, my three year old asked for some and quote,"Oh, yum that's good.  More please"!!!!!  My picky little eater, my wouldn't eat chicken nuggets for almost 2 years, my cries when I have to try one bite, my kid liked this roast!
I wanted to try this recipe because it claimed to be perfect for french dip roast beef sandwiches the next day and the Mister loves him some french dip - so that's tomorrow!

PS - I want to thank my dear friend Laura, who ran out into the freezing snow and met me on the street to swap me balsamic vinegar for cumin so I could make dinner tonight while my car is at the shop!

Dr. Oz Teeth Whitening

My pins come from my Homemade or Natural Remedies pinboard, I tried the Dr. Oz Teeth Whitening, which inadvertenly led to me using Baking Soda for Cleaning my bathroom sink!  The Dr. Oz teeth whitening mixes fresh lemon juice and baking soda into a paste, which you apply and leave on your teeth for a minute, then brush with toothpaste as usual.  This pin had some comments from other pinners stating two main concerns: that the acid in the lemon juice was harmful, and the baking soda too abrasive to be safe. Okay people, let's be smart here!  1: there is more acid in your diet soda, lemonade, and consumed fruits, like tomatoes and oranges, than the amount that makes it onto your tooth's enamel.  And 2: baking soda is used in commercial toothpaste already!  Look!
Whitening strips make my teeth sensitive so I wanted to try an alternative.  This was extremely messy and did not taste pleasant!  I end up using my toothbrush to apply the whitening paste because a cotton ball and q-tip didn't cut it.  I couldn't tell an immediate difference, but I'll give it a week to see any improvement.  Use what falls in the sink to scour and clean!

***1 week later...

I see no noticeable difference in my teeth, bummer!  My dentist told me when I last went that I had the highest color of "natural white" for fillings, so maybe if you have some surface stains, or drink dark beverages, this could work for you.  I will probably try another pin, hopeful one that works and doesn't cost so much!  I went through way too much baking soda!

Feeding the Soul and the Belly

Tonight my pin came from my Church pinboard.

One thing that I really like about church is Visiting Teaching.  To me, being Visiting Teacher means being responsible to reach out to each other as sisters in Christ, to help and lift each other spiritually and temporally, to really live my religion.

We go in pairs, bringing something new to share - a treat, a new insight, a spiritual thought.  And some times we get new pairing and new ladies to visit which can really shake things up in a good way, and that's what just happened for me, so I'm pretty excited.

Plus, it's a great way for me to meet other ladies in the congregation that I might not know, share spiritual insights and ideas with others, to help out friends in need when they're sick, and, duh, visit!  I have made great friends this way, especially when I first move into a new place and don't know anyone or the local scene for things like, doctor referrals, or parks for play dates, or book clubs.

Each month The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has a new spiritual message for Visiting Teaching and Pinterest is full of cute printable handouts, like this pin.  This month is about sharing your testimony and missionary work.  One part of my testimony of Jesus Christ is that I know He cares for both our Spiritual and Physical well being, and that's what I want to share this month.

I used lds.org Scripture on-line search looking for my favorite story of Jesus feeding the thousands with loaves and fishes, and I found it:  Matthew 15:29-38.  This is my favorite telling of the story because after first feeding everyone spiritually, He feed everyone physically with leftovers to spare.  I printed out the story, made a loaf of homemade bread, and attached a personal message.

Some of the ladies I'm responsible for haven't been to church in a while, some don't invite me in the front door, that's okay.  I just want them to know that I care about them.

Red Lips

Red lips, that's right I'm talking #FF0000 baby.  Or as some of you may know as rgb(255,0,0).  Yeah it's late and my husband cracks me up.

My Style Pinboard is the inspiration for tonight's date night make-up:  clear and fresh face, with dark top eyeliner and, you guessed it, red lips.  Here are a few good pin links: Top Four Reds and 6 Rules of Wearing Red.  The first as a few go to reds and how to wear them for formal or special occasions and the second is a wonderful guide to apply and wear reds.

I have to say, that for lipstick, especially for dark bold colors, brands matter.  My top two brands for lipsticks would be MAC and Nars, they stick to your lips, aren't waxy, and they are opaque.  My red lipstick is MAC Brave Red.  It's a Cremesheen, meaning it has a soft sheen, not a high gloss.  I picked this one because it makes me feel sassy, in a retro pin-up way, makes my teeth look white, and it doesn't wipe off on my teeth!

DIY Cake Stand

From my For the Home pinboard I wanted to recreate this Cake Stand, but one shorter, so it wouldn't be so top heavy:
I wanted something that would match no matter what the decor in my kitchen is, something that could be used for food or as the other photo depics,  for soap and scrubbing tools.  After a trip to my local Savers for a .99 plate and IKEA for a .49 candlestick holder I was ready to go!
After my quick Crisco and blowdryer trick to remove the sticker label:
I used the E 6000 epoxy because it is clear when it dries.
I turned the plate upside down, the applied a thick amount of glue to the narrow end of the candlestick. I pressed the candlestick on the plate for over 1 minute, then let it air dry for about 30 minutes.
And voila!  The finished product!

Chicken Enchilada Soup

Tonight I made Chicken Enchilada Soup in the crockpot.  It was very yummy!  My family likes to put corn tortilla chips on top, my three year old ends up just dipping her chips in the soup.  It's going in the recipe book!  Follow the pin back to the original site and there are 10 family favorite soup recipes, just perfect for this cold snowy/rainy weather!

Roasted Red Potatoes and Homemade Teething Biscuits, but not mixed together!

I did two pins from my New Recipes to Try pinboard and both were a hit!

Roasted Red Potatoes, I did have to substitute dried herbs, but the flavors were so yummy!  Parsley, garlic, rosemary, and lemon blended so well together.  Try this and make your potatoes nice and thin so they get crispy.  I will be adding this recipe into my cookbook!

The second recipe I tried was Homemade Teething Biscuits.  At the grocery store I couldn't find anything other than toddler biscuits and was a bit discouraged.  My baby just popped out tooth number seven, so we needed something!  This was easy enough, but I recommend mixing all the ingredients by hand not with a mixer or spoon.  Using the cinnamon and mashed banana really smelled nice.  I tried one, my three year old tried one, and the baby tried one.  Of the three taste testers the baby was the only one with a complaint, she couldn't take a bite!  It took her a minute to realize that she would have to work at the biscuit to get a piece and when she did, we heard her food cry of glee! I like that they don't crumble and the baby has to work to eat them, plus they freeze so I don't have to worry about them getting wasted.

6 Spa Waters and a Tri-fold MS Word Template

Tonight was my Relief Society Women's church activity night.  I was in charge of spa waters for refreshments and sharing some tips and tricks for the new year.  I used 7 pins!

First, the tips and tricks for the new year I shared were printed on this Free tri-fold wedding program template.  It took some work to find a tri-fold that was free and prebuilt.  For this one all I did was delete the wedding text and add my stuff - very easy and straightforward.

The spa waters were fun to look into.  A spa water is just a name for a fruit, vegetable, or herb infused water like those served in nice spa retreats as part of the beauty and health treatments.  Each water has different claims, such as antioxidant, metabolism boosting, natural pain relief, Vitamin C boost, detox cleansing, etc.  I just picked the ones that sounded tasty, as an alternate to drinking juice, or soda, or any other diet drinks with calories.  I couldn't transport 6 large pitchers of spa waters in my car, so I made a concentrate version in wide mouth quart canning jars.  It worked to be 2-3 smaller serving pitchers at the church for each recipe.

To make a spa water concentrate: prepare fruit and put in jars, then fill with filtered water, seal and refrigerate at least 2 hours.  To serve, combine concentrate with full water amount called for, and distribute into ice filled smaller serving pitchers.

For my 6 spa waters, I used from my Spa Waters pinboardApple CinnamonLayered CitrusGinger MangoPomegranate Blueberry BlissCucumber Lemon Medley, and an altered form of Agua Mojito. I asked for feedback from the ladies about which water they preferred.  Overall, Pomegranate Blueberry Bliss and Agua Mojito were the winners.  Mint, for the Agua Mojito, was non-existant at the grocery store and the recipe from my pinboard was a single glass serving anyway, so I altered the recipe and served up Kristin's Agua Mojito.  I have to say, I'm glad the ladies liked my created recipe!

Kristin's Agua Mojito
1 Tablespoon honey
1/4 teaspoon pure peppermint extract
4-5 lime slices

Combine all in an airtight container, fill with filtered water, close container and shake to incorporate honey.  Refrigerate at least 2 hours.  Fill large pitcher with ice, pour concentrate over ice, and then fill remaining space with filtered water.

*Will post a picture of spa waters in canning jar concentrate form when I get the photo from my friend's iPad!*

Vinegar Cleaner Bottle Labels

I used this Free Vinegar Cleaner Bottle Labels pin from my Homemade or Natural Remedies Pinboard.  It took a while of surfing Pinterest to find an actual "free" label, many required a subscription to Scrib'd to print.  This is just one of the many labels from theyummylife.com, this one had a 'write in name' space; next time I need to make a batch of vinegar cleaner, I'm going to use the recipes from this site, they looked like they would smell nicer.

Using orange Vinegar Cleaner

Two weeks ago I made up a batch of Orange Vinegar, after curing it it was ready to be used!  Using my Homemade or Natural Remedies pinboard I followed the instructions on how to make Natural Orange Vinegar Cleaner.  Using a 1:1 ratio of vinegar and water I filled a washed out old 409 spray bottle and tested it out on the countertop and kiddie table.  I'm not going to lie, it smells like vinegar.  Some blogs said to add Essential Oils to help with the smell, but I didn't have any and I'm trying to go green in more than one way:).  My family has members sensitive to the smell of vinegar, so I'll just use my bottle of cleaner during the day when he's at work.  The overall cost of my Orange Vinegar Cleaner: $.10!  Haha!  Vinegar disinfects and of course, is food safe which is important when used in the kitchen with children.  I even had some leftover!  Maybe I'll try it in a recipe.

Uses of Coconut Oil: Face, Part 2 - Serious Eye Cream

As I mentioned before in my previous post, coconut oil has wonderful skincare properties.  My pin today is Serious Eye Cream.  It's made with coconut oil and Vitamin E oil - that's it!  Here's how I did it: first I washed out an old McCormick spice jar (whole cloves, the pop top had a nice big opening), I ran hot water over my bottle of coconut oil until it had enough melted to fill the jar, then, using a toothpick I popped 4 Vitamin E capsules, and stirred it up!  The final product will need to solidify before use, either in a cool dark place or your fridge.  This had rave reviews, so here it goes!
Assemble ingredients and tools

Pour melted coconut oil into container
Squeeze out the Vitamin E oil, then stir
The finished product will need to solidify

Uses of Coconut Oil: Face, Part 1: Exfoliating Face Wash

One of my New Year's Resolutions was to go more green or homemade when possible, and I have been doing a lot of research and pinning about DIY beauty and skincare using coconut oil.  The article from Dr. Joseph Mercola in The Huffington Post was very helpful in pinpointing with documentation the benefits of coconut oil as an ingredient, medical supplement, and skincare treatment. I had to get on this!  So I'm going to try several ways of incorporating coconut oil in my home.  Today, it's in my skincare regime.

From my pinboard Homemade or Natural Remedies I made Coconut Oil Exfoliating Face Wash.  It was super quick, easy, cheap, and Wow!  My face feels great right now!  Using a small amount of coconut oil and baking soda I made a paste in the palm of my hand and used it in a circular motion all over my neck and face.  When I no longer could feel the oil and only could feel the "gritty" baking soda, I rinsed my face and patted it dry.  The coconut oil quickly absorbed into my face and feels so soft!  Not greasy, and no, I do not smell like coconut!  In fact, I was a little disappointed that the coconut oil doesn't have a scent really.  I'm following the pin, using this exfoliating wash every few days and in between just using coconut oil.  After one week I'll compare my overall skin quality and decide if I'll keep it up, but I am really liking this feeling right now!  I don't feel the need to put on my Pond's skin cream!
Just use a small amount, the size of a dime!

Making Your Own Baby Food

I don't have a link to one of my pins today - I am a little saddened by this.  I need a soapbox please.

I make my own baby food, I like it, it works for my family.  It seems to be a major trend right now and since you only need minimal equipment, anyone can do it - just remember to research before you start!  Talk to your pediatrician, or a dietitian, or even a government hotline phone call, something!  Before I started feeding my baby, my pediatrician asked me my feeding plan and I said that we were going to make our own, he gave me some papers from the American Academy of Pediatrics "Caring for Your Baby and Young Child: Birth to Age 5" as a reference.

The reason I don't have a pin to a baby food recipe from Pinterest because there are a few foods YOU SHOULD NOT MAKE HOMEMADE FOR YOUR BABY: beets, turnips, carrots, spinach, and collard greens. *** "In some parts of the country, these vegetables have large amounts of nitrates, a chemical that can cause an unusual type of anemia (low blood count) in young infants.  Baby food companies are aware of this problem and screen the produce they buy for nitrates.  They also avoid buying these vegetables in parts of the country where nitrates have been found.  Since you cannot test for this chemical yourself, it is safer to use commercially prepared forms of these foods, especially while your child is an infant."***

Most of the Pinterest baby food recipes include carrots or spinach, so I haven't been able to find a good source for new combo ideas.  Right now I'm still struggling to get my baby to enjoy fruit and mozzarella cheese.  So far, the biggest hit has been homemade chicken noodle soup!

I showed my friend how to make baby food today, we made green beans and peas, pineapple banana, and avocado.  Just cook the beans and peas first, all the others were soft enough already, and puree without water for stage 2 eaters, or with water in a 2:1 ratio - food to water.  Use a blender, bullet, or hand mill.  The food is good for 3 days in the fridge, and you can freeze in ice cube trays for later.  I use a Baby Bullet and I love it!

**One other side note: boxed baby cereals were recommended over home prepared ones because the iron was more easily absorbed, if you are worried by the rice scare or fear constipation, opt for barley and then oatmeal!

Bird Day at the Aviary and Home

Today's pins came from my Family and Kid Activities pinboard.  Since I used several pins, I will not link each individual one.

The babies and I went to the Tracy Aviary in Salt Lake City, during winter months Wednesdays are $1 entrance fee so we bundled up, loaded up on snacks and lunch, packed the stroller, and HAD A BLAST!  Even with the snow and construction work, we saw every bird on display except the flamingoes!  The three-year old kept wanting to see more, feed the ducks more, and stay longer.  Baby just happily watched, ate lunch, and passed out in the stroller.  It was a very nice trip for mommy too, outside with sunshine, kids happy and learning, and I heard a birds' mating song that sounded like R2D2!  Just remember to enter Liberty Park  by the 900 S. entrance and plan on staying for hours.

When we got home we made a bird feeder, played with bird stickers, and pretended to be birds for a few hours.  I was "momma Swan" and said "ko-hoh!", while the three-year old was "a geese" going "honk!", and the baby was supposed to be a duck, but she didn't cooperate with the sounds.

I'd like to go again and be able to take some pictures this time!

Cucumber and Lemon Medley Spa Water

Today's pin comes from my Spa Waters pinboard.  For an upcoming church women's activity I'm in charge of making 4-5 different spa waters as part of a healthy refreshment table, so I'll be trying out several to find what taste best.  I'm sorry to say that this Cucumber and Lemon Medley spa water won't be one that I serve.  I found it too bitter, but in all fairness, it's January and cucumbers are not in season, so maybe I just got a bitter one.

Correctly Storing Produce

While making up homemade baby food, I buy quite a bit of produce and some of it can be tricky to figure out how to store.  Here are a few pins that have been very handy for knowing how to properly store produce: How to Store Common ProduceHow to Store Ginger rootMangoes: Picking, Storing, and Tips.  Help stretch your family's food budget by taking care with your produce, it will last longer, and will more likely be actually eaten rather than just turning bad!

Pop of Color to Twist a Classic Outfit

Today for church I used two pins: Wearing Colored Tights in Winter and 12 Strand Pearl Necklace in my church outfit.  It created a nice pop of color to twist my classic "little black dress and pearls outfit".  I was hesitant at first to wear funky colored tights because I'm over 5 feet and not in an urban setting, but I did and was very pleased with all the fun compliments I received!

This is my outfit, no I'm not modeling it!

I own the top three and my dress and cardigan are very similar, so if you feel so bold you can re-create for yourself!

***Sorry, my first picture of my blue tights came directly from oldnavy.com, since then they have removed it!  I have re-posted the image from my pinboard. Go bold with colored tights!!!*** 1/23/13

Epsom Salt Bath Soak

"Me time" doesn't really work for SAHMs very often, at least it doesn't for me.  So when I can carve out a few minutes for myself I really try to pamper myself or do something super fun and girly.  This pin fit right in with my "me time" requirements: Epsom Salt Bath Soak.  I thought Epsom Salts were just for old ladies and feet soaking, or crafts, but I learned that they have real value in many aspects of your home life: gardening, beauty regimes, medical aid, outdoor pest control, mood lifting for depression, and that's just a few!  This soak was quick, I had all the stuff in my house, and when I need to get more it's very cost friendly.

For your Epsom Salt Bath Soak, first: fill your bathtub with hot water.  Second: add 2 Cups Epsom Salts to the water and dissolve, the plain ol' salts are what you want, you don't need the fancy salts that already have scents or added oils.  Third: add 1/2 Cup of skin care oil, this can be baby oil, mineral oil, coconut oil, or even olive oil (I did baby oil).  Fourth: add a few drops of essential oils - I used doTerra Wild Orange oil for it's relaxing properties, I was quite pleased that I smelled more of the Wild Orange and not the baby oil.  Now soak for at least 12 minutes without using any soap, apparently it interferes with the Epsom salt working properly.  You're supposed to rest or take it easy for 2 hours after your soak to give everything time to have the maximum effect.  If you're not a bath taker, you can just do a foot soak with the same recipe.

I'm thinking that this could be a fabulous homemade gift, I could put it in little mason jars with a cute tag, or in a basket with other homemade beauty products, hmm.  I need to convert the recipe down to foot soak in a portable tub size, hmm.  Yes, definately.

Softening Brown Sugar & Sweet Cornbread Cake

Today I did two pins: Softening Brown Sugar and Sweet Cornbread Cake.

We had friends over for dinner and when I pulled out my brown sugar to use in my dessert, this is what I found: hard, rock-like sugar.  I even tried smashing it on my kitchen tile and this is the best that I got!  Quickly, I looked up ways to soften brown sugar, but I didn't have time to put in a piece of bread, or apple slice, or citrus peel.  I was so happy when I found this Softening Brown Sugar pin, you use aluminum foil wrapped around your sugar and pop it in the oven @ 300 degrees for 5 minutes and, voila!  Check out the difference!  I was able to use my fingers to break up my rocky lumps!  What a neat kitchen trick!  My girlfriend said that she does this, sans foil, in the microwave.  Who knew?
For our dinner, we were in charge of making cornbread to go with Chicken Tortilla Soup.  I was really excited to find a new cornbread recipe, you see, I used to work at Marie Callender's in college and I loved LOVED their cornbread.  I guess the restaurant recipe has yellow cake mix in it.  Not having yellow cake mix and not wanting to run to the store, I found this Sweet Cornbread Cake recipe and gave it a whirl.  It made a 9*13 pan and was one of those wonderful "one bowl, just add everything together" type of recipes.  It got rave reviews from our dinner guests, and I liked it, but I'm going to try adding more sweetness.  My church does a Chili and Cornbread Cook-off every year, and I think my experimenting with this recipe will end up being made and brought to that event!

Sweet and Sour Chicken

Today's pin was my family's dinner: Sweet and Sour Chicken.  I served it with sticky rice on a bed of romaine lettuce, sprinkled with sesame seeds.  It was a bit labor intensive and there was a tiny oil fire on my stovetop, but the verdict: tasty!  Even the three year old took a bite and liked it!  While it tastes like something from a quick Chinese restaurant, it doesn't taste like sweet and sour chicken in the traditional sense, I'd call it Sweet Chinese Chicken and I think that it would be great in a salad with cashews and those crispy white rice noodles.

If you're looking for a more "Sweet and Sour Sauce" in the traditional sense I recommend mine, it makes a lot, but can be made separate from your meat so it can be stored in the fridge and used for multiple recipes, like sweet and sour chicken - baked or fried, and with meatballs.

Kristin's Sweet and Sour Sauce
1 1/2 Cups white sugar
4 Tablespoons cornstarch
4 Tablespoons vinegar
4 Tablespoons ketchup
1 1/2 Cups pineapple juice
2 Tablespoons lemon juice

Mix sugar and cornstarch in saucepan.
Whisk other ingredients together in a bowl, then add to saucepan.
Whisk while over medium heat.
Sauce is ready when thick and clear.

Keeps in the fridge for at least 2 weeks.
Use with chicken, beef, pork, or egg rolls.

Wreath of the Month - Deco Mesh

With this year I'm doing a Wreath of the Month - my door will be festive!  Haha!  My pin today comes from my Wreaths board, How to make a Deco Mesh Wreath!  I've always wanted to try making one, and I already had the supplies on hand.  I made a two colored mesh wreath, but it would be easier with just one color.  After I finished with the mesh I added wired ribbon for an accent, 4" deco ribbon is preferred, but this was on hand.
You will need one deco mesh ribbon, found in the floral section of a craft store (ps: Hobby Lobby has the best sale price on these, $4-5!), a wire hanger (or a pre-made wreath form), and floral wire (my girlfriend used bag twist ties in substitution).
Each deco mesh ribbon can make two wreaths, so either find a buddy, or use a color that can be multi-seasonal.  My colors I thought could work for Winter and then, add a hot neon accent color for Summer.  My supplies cost me $12 total, but since the deco mesh makes two wreaths, and the floral wire can be used multiple times, and I had the accent ribbon and wire hanger on hand, I estimate my wreath cost me $5.  With only one color you're looking at as low as $2.50.  Not too shabby!

Steps:
  1. Bend your wire hanger into a circle, leave the hook.
  2. Cut floral wire into 12 - 4" pieces.
  3. Take mesh, leaving a 2-3" tail, and attach to top of circle with floral wire.  Just bunch mesh down and twist wire like you're closing a bread bag.
  4. Once attached, measure out about 8-12" of mesh and then attach down with another wire.
  5. That's it, scrunch and bunch all the way around, like a clock.
  6. To finish off, twist the final scrunch and bunch loop in the same wire piece you started with.  Fluff your loops and re-arrange as you see fit.
  7. To add an accent ribbon, just use the same wire ties and twist the accent ribbon on top of the mesh.
  8. When finished, go around and tuck in all the wire tails.
