10 Awesome Ways to make Cleaning Fun for Kids

When my 3 year old started getting a bit too complacent about leaving messes for "mommy cleans up" I knew it was time to change a few things in our house!  10 Awesome Ways to make Cleaning Fun for Kids is a great list of ideas to help teach kiddos this responsibility, yes responsibility!  They live here, they use things, make messes, and learn through play gets messy!  I stress to my princess that we take care of our things so we can use them again and pick them up off the floor so they don't get stepped on and broken (this has happened).

Our favorite cleaning is vacuuming.  We have a child sized vacuum and a pink and white dust buster that is just the right size for a 3 year old.  Before we vacuum we pick up the toys, 'so mommy doesn't get them or bonk them'.  When we've finished vacuuming the room is perfect for somersaults, or for all the couch cushions and pillows to jump on while mommy vacuums all the crumbs!  Check out the list, and then get cleaning!
